Would It Be Possible To Start A Business With $10,000 Or 500,000 Pesos?

Would it be possible to start a business with $10,000 or 500,000 Pesos? I've heard that you need a lot of money to start a business there.
If so, what type of business could you possibly start? A Starbucks or McDonalds franchise, store in a mall, ect?

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

For that kind of money you could buy an ice cream franchise for P250,000 and have the other used towards setting up a store or some sDonald’sfood outlet.
A Mc Donads or Starbucks franchise is P10 million or $100,000.
You don’t have the money to start a store in a mall.

Try micro lending, help those small enterpreneurs on the streets like food vendors, owners of small sari-sari stores and market stallholders. These group of borrowers are seldom covered by banks and lending institutions because they fall below the threshold of being ‘qualified’ borrowers. Offer competitive interest rates, perhaps half a percentage point below the usury rates imposed by Indian loan sharks.
    Good luck.

McDo, 3.5 – 5 M, so your 500,000. i think it is enough for the payment of a business permit in PI.
I suggest, Buy and Sell of garments, personal accessories, house utensils and tools with out showroom to avoid business permit payment because your capital is too small.

I don’t think there’s any franchise or storefront business you can start on $10,000. I heard McDonald’s franchises cost $1,000,000 to start (but are almost guaranteed to be profitable quickly) and Starbucks does not have franchises, each Starbucks store is corporate-owned.

How about buying a fishing boat?
If the business turns bust, you can still get to enjoy fishing by yourself.
And take me with you. We can talk about the Wowowee dancers as we wait for the fish to bite.

$10,000 is what you need to get a business loan from the bank. And to become part of a franchise you need ALOT of money.
